Christa B Allen From 13 Going On 30 Shares Her Dream Collaboration

Christa B Allen is an American actress, originally from Southern California who resides in Los Angeles. She started her career at a young age when she played the younger version of Jennifer Garner’s character in the movie “13 going 30”. She was also one of the main characters in the very popular show Revenge. We were very happy to get a chance to chat with her, learn more about her journey, and see what she is up to.

Christa B Allen

What is your favorite quote?

Christa B Allen: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. – Marianne Williamson

This was my favorite quote long before Williamson’s presidential bid. I prefer her as a spiritual guru, to be honest.

Your best quality?

Christa B Allen: I’ve asked my partner, he says it’s my thoughtfulness.

Where do you live?

Christa B Allen: Arts District, DTLA (Los Angeles, California)

What have you been up to lately?

Christa B Allen: Auditioning, studying, and executing social media campaigns. I work alone for the most part, and I really enjoy each aspect; from dreaming up the concept to writing copy, styling images or video, to shooting.

Who is the person you admire the most?

Christa B Allen: Cate Blanchett as an actress, Elon Musk as an innovator, Beyoncé as a divine ruler. I’ve met both of those last two folks within the last year, and it took everything in me to not tear up because it really felt like my dreams coming true.

Christa B Allen: Being surrounded by happy, healthy friends and family while fulfilling one’s life purpose.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Christa B Allen: Aerial silks. And travel!

What is having good manners for you?

Christa B Allen: As a guest; turning up presentable, in good spirits, preferably with a small gift. As a host; making sure your guests’ every want or need is met. In any situation; a sense of humor.

Do you have any bad habits?

Christa B Allen: Leaving things all over the house (or whatever room I’m in) … I spread out everywhere, which means I have to tidy up every. Single. Day.

Any new habits you would like to add to your routine?

Christa B Allen: I need to make meditation a much more regular habit!

Tacos. Being from Southern California, it is part of my DNA.

What inspires you?

Living with intention. Also witnessing others live with intention.

Best advice ever received?

When I was 11, Jennifer Garner advised me to always maintain a full life outside of acting. She said that actors lose the ability to play ‘real’ people when they stop living a ‘real’ life.

What is your morning routine?

Christa B Allen: I wish I had a more romantic morning routine as they espouse in so many brilliant self-improvement books, but really, I wake up, I do wake my dog up, she comes to snuggle me, and then I make coffee. If I’m lucky, I get a workout in.

Your favorite movie scene of all time?

Rose Dewitt Bukater dancing on her toe, smoking cigarettes, and drinking whiskey in third class!
